RCT Catering Services provides a tasty and nutritious menu to all primary schools within Rhondda Cynon Taf.

RCT's School Catering Dietitians have been working diligently behind the scenes to develop a new menu, which meets current Welsh Government Food and Drink Standards, whilst making incremental steps towards the proposed Healthy Eating in Schools Regulations, which may come into force in 2026.

We offer a two week menu of hot dishes, along with a jacket potato with filling option, daily. Our meals include a dessert and a drink. All schools offer in addition to the main meal, 50% wholegrain bread, yoghurt and fresh fruit daily.

We can also provide vegetarian, vegan & medical diet menus, however it is crucial that specific dietary needs are communicated to Catering Direct and the school before an individual is provided with a school meal.
