School Uniform Recycling Challenge
Sat 12 Jul 2025As another school year comes to an end, what do you do with all your old school uniforms and PE kit?
RCT is calling on all schools to take up the School Uniform Recycling Challenge and recycle all your unwanted; shirts, trousers, polo t-shirts, jumpers, skirts, tights, socks, shoes, shorts, boots, cardigans and any other items of clothing that you no longer need.
We have taken up this challenge and would like to encourage you to help us. The school with the highest number items collected to pupil ratio wins a prize for the school.
If you can help, please can all uniform recycling be brought in to school during the last week of term only, from Monday 14th July in clear recycling bags please.
Thank you very much for your support

REMINDER - Drop off/Collection
Wed 09 Jul 2025REMINDER - Drop off/Collection
If you need to collect your child outside of normal school drop off/collection hours e.g. after 9am and before 3.15pm, please could you inform the office via email or leave a message on the school answer phone. If you need to collect your child around lunchtime, please could you collect or drop off before 11.30am or after 1.45pm as staff are covering lunch duties and access to the school is limited and you may not get in. This is also for safeguarding reasons.
Please can you ensure that this information is passed on to all those who may have responsibility for dropping off/collecting from school, thank you.
Kind regards

Breakfast Club from September 2025
Mon 07 Jul 2025The breakfast club applications are now open for new bookings from September 2025.
There will be no requirement for pupils, who have already applied for a breakfast club place and appear on a register or waiting list, to reapply for September 2025.
Only those pupils new to breakfast club will need to apply and parents/carers will need to complete the online application form on the Councils website. Please click on the link below.
All new applicants are automatically assigned to our waiting list and as soon as a place becomes available, you will receive an email confirming that your child can come in to breakfast club.
Unfortunately, Catering Direct still have staffing problems within breakfast club and are continuing to recruit but at present we are carrying on running our breakfast club within our current staffing ratios.
We are still therefore unable to accommodate Nursery pupils in to our breakfast club at this present time. This is for the health and safety of all concerned.
Please can we remind you that breakfast club is run to provide those children that need it, access to a free and healthy breakfast. This provision is not childcare.
Places not used for three weeks or at least once a week will result in removal from the register and the space offered to the next on the waiting list.
If your child has not been successful in gaining a place within our breakfast club, then they will not be permitted into breakfast club. We will continue to run our waiting list and monitor the attendance of those using the club.
Parents MUST accompany their child to the front door and hand them over to staff to ensure registration is confirmed.
Reminder - doors open at 8am and close promptly at 8.20am and no hot drinks are to be brought into breakfast club, thank you.
Kind regards,
Mr H Roberts
