Food bank collection

As part of our annual Harvest celebrations we will be collecting for the local food bank again this year.

Below is a list of items the food bank is currently running low on. We have made suggestions as to which items each year group could possibly donate to try and vary the items donated in order to help the food bank with their shortfall.

If you are able to make a kind donation, we would appreciate that all items are brought in by Wednesday 23rd October 2024 so we can arrange a collection before half term - Please can these be taken to your child's class, where they will be collected up by the school council.

Food bank item list

Nursery / reception - tinned meat/ tinned potatoes/ packs of mashed potatoes

Year 1/2 - tinned vegetables

Year 2 - tinned fruit

Year 3 - rice pudding / jam

Year 4 - squash/ fruit juice/ coffee/ hot chocolate

Year 5 - snacks- crisps/ cereal bars / biscuits

Year 6 - toiletries

Additional items the foodbank is short of are cleaning products and toilet rolls
