We are very excited as a school to announce that we have purchased licenses for all our pupils in Year 1-6 to use Times Tables Rockstars. This is an app/website with fun games for the children to practice their times tables and we will be using it both in school and as a homework resource. To launch this we would like to have a 'Dress as a rockstar' day on Wednesday 9th October 2024. We would like to encourage all the children in Years 1-6 to come in dressed as a rockstar, please do not feel you have to purchase anything specific for this day, you can use clothing/accessories you already have or even decorate a plain school tshirt. Your children may wish to have wacky hair, bright clothes, stripey tights, inflatable guitar etc to wear into school. The day will begin with an assembly where the children will be introduced to Times Table Rockstars and during the day they will have time to explore the app/website. In the evening the children will then bring home their login details and an explanation of how to use the system in the house.
