Nursery Times for the academic year 2026-27.

Morning session: 9.00 a.m. to 12 noon followed by lunch

Afternoon session: 1.00 p.m. to 3.15 p.m

The nursery gates will open at 8.50am and children are met by the Early Years staff. They close at 9.10am to allow for latecomers, siblings to get around the building. If you arrive after this time, please can you report to the main office to sign your child in, noting reason for lateness and they will be taken to class from there, thank you.

During the school day, the inner gates to the outdoor learning areas are left locked for the safety and security of all our pupils. We politely ask that parents/carers leave the school as soon as the bell is rung at 9am.

The main gates are left closed, but unlocked, unless there are children playing outside in the main plaza. Should you arrive after 9.10am, please use the school’s main entrance and register with the school office, noting reason for lateness.

Transition

To ease the transition period at the beginning of term, there will be a three week transition and settling in period for all the Nursery children including those that were part of our Pre Nursery intake earlier in the year (should there be one).

This will allow staff to settle pupils and teach them lunchtime routines (where applicable) before having all pupils to stay.

You will be invited to an information evening in the term prior to starting and will be contacted by the school once this has been arranged, with dates and times.

Should we have a Pre-Nursery intake, they will be part time, mornings only.
